Life is Going to Change

I’m recently started to ponder the changes that will happen in my life and with how I work, changes that are just around the corner.

If I hadn’t been reading as much philosophy and meditating and reflecting as much as I had been over the past 9 months (when I was first exposed to integral philosophy), I’d probably be fraught with overwhelming anxiety.

Still…

I wonder how I will manage my business. I will be the primary caretaker for the baby for the first year of his life. Travel will be extremely limited. I can no longer pick up and go to wherever I need to in order to work with clients the way I could. Recently I initiated a discussion with a company to sell my consulting business. I’m still waiting for a confidentiality agreement from them to formally move forward with the discussion, but I haven’t felt the urge to “hurry them up”, nor have I gotten started on compiling a financial summary necessary to start negotiations.

Closing in on Pregnancy Month 6

In a couple of weeks I will be 6 months pregnant!***

I am enjoying the second half of my second trimester much more than the first half of the second trimester and definitely the entire first trimester (when I was nauseous and fatigued). I am walking regularly – either on the treadmill at the gym or with hubby in the evenings. Here are some of my memorable pregnancy experiences during this trimester:

* Becoming more winded again. While not as pronounced as when I first got pregnant when I felt tired just walking up a flight of stairs, I am beginning to feel more winded when I walk. I suspect it is because I have gained more weight, and it’s tougher to walk around packing 15 pounds of extra weight compared to pre-pregnancy.
